Children’s stories + hypnotherapeutic language.

Help your children get over their worries.

A fusion of cognitive hypnotherapy and children’s stories

Cognitive hypnotherapy

It’s probably not what comes to mind first!

Cognitive hypnotherapy helps people with a wide range of worries. We work with the unconscious mind which is normally the part of the mind that drives the unwanted behaviours. For example, if someone has a phobia of dogs, they could run away at the sight of one before consciously being able to determine that it is a cute chihuahua. Therefore, we work to change the unconscious mind so that it no longer holds you back from doing what you would like to do.

A variety of techniques and hypnotherapeutic suggestions are used while the client is in a state of "trance". However, this state of "trance" is nothing magical. Actually, it is quite ordinary: we are in it most of our lives. It is like the "day-dreaming" state that we enter while we are trapped in the story of a good film.

In the stories, we use hypnotherapeutic suggestions that help your children see the positives in their futures.

Imagine this, if you always look for the positives in the world, it’s much harder for negative thoughts to pop up!

When to listen

The best time to listen to the stories is… Anytime!

It could be a bedtime story, a classtime activity, or a car ride to school.

How to listen

Feel free to download the complimentary worksheet for each story to help your children think through their worries.

This could be a great exercise in a classroom setting!

But don’t worry, the worksheet is optional!

My name is Lucas and I would say that Sleeping Saundra wouldn’t have been born if it weren’t for my younger twin sisters.

I started telling stories to them when they were 10 years old.

The stories would be organised around a particular worry, like self-confidence issues, and would help them relate to the character’s worry. They would then see the character navigate this worry and overcome it, reminding them that they too can overcome their troubles.

It was only when I studied cognitive hypnotherapy, after studying electromechanical engineering, that I realised I could improve my stories by including hypnotherapeutic phrases to help promote even more positive change.

For thousands of years, stories were responsible for transferring information over generations, and now the next wave of stories has reached you: Hypnotherapeutic Stories

I would love for a world where all children realise that they have everything it takes to be happy being them. Hopefully Sleeping Saundra will help nudge children towards this goal we can all stand behind.

I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or feedback on the stories!
